In more exciting news, we are inching closer to hitting the studio to record our third album, our first with Ryan. New Shows (4.12.10)
We will be heading back to Bar A in Belmar on Thursday, May 6th to rock the shore. This show will indeed be a special one because it will be Ryan Sauerman's first live performance with Downcast Theory! Hopefully everyone will be able to come out and cheer him on in his first show with DT.
Also, DT has been added to the bill for October 9th's Local and Legend Festival in Lebanon, NJ. This show will feature Parliament Funkadelic's Bernie Worrell and we are honored to have the opportunity to share the stage with him. This festival will benefit the music charity of Worrell's choosing so be sure to check in for more information on how you can give back to the music community!
Look out for new press photos and a new MySpace layout in the next couple weeks.

New Bassist; New EP (3.27.10)
We have the distinct privilege of announcing that Ryan Sauerman will be joining Downcast Theory on bass. We wish Kenny Earl all the best; he was a huge part of who we were over the past two and a half years and for that we thank him.
In other news, we are preparing for our follow-up to 'Damaged Calm', a yet-to-be-named EP. The tentative plan is to be in the studio by June, with a hopeful release sometime in July. On the release date, we will also make available brand new t-shirts, stickers, and a kick-ass show to debut some of the new material.
Rock On.

Let 2009 end, let 2010 begin (1.3.10)
Being on the rock scene for the last two and a half years, we've met some amazing bands and made some great friends. With that said, we decided that we should begin our 2010 campaign much like we ended 2009: sharing the stage with our good friends Jaded Faith and West Gate. Check us out at The Saint on January 22nd as we get closer to Starland, Cold, and Nonpoint!
